Why You Don’t Actually NEED Supplements

Before diving into everything, we want to make something clear first…

You can build an incredible body without the help of any supplements.

The majority of your progress is truly going to come from dialing in your nutrition, improving on your workouts, and having your rest/lifestyle in check.

When you have those locked down, supplements can provide you with a bit of an edge for more results.

Your main takeaway is – if you’re eating too much and can’t nail a moderate calorie deficit for fat loss.

If you’re not training for strength in the gym.

If you’re not allowing for proper time to rest and recover.

If lifestyle isn’t in check, such as sleeping well, managing stress, etc…

Then you need to handle those things first, before you think supplements are going to help you.

The Foundation Of Your Health

When we hear the word ‘supplements’ the first thing that typically comes to mind is sports nutrition supplements.

You know, things like preworkouts, fat burners, mass gainers, protein powders, etc…

Supplementation goes far beyond those. One of the quickest ways to improve your health and well being is to correct any micronutrient deficiencies.

The quickest and easiest way to do this is by taking a high quality multivitamin.

All of your bodies main metabolic and hormonal processes are fueled by micronutrients (vitamins & minerals).

Simply by making sure you’re giving your body what it needs to function properly is going to help you lose fat faster, build lean muscle, have thriving energy throughout the day, and sleep like a baby at night.

Issues With The Media On Supplements & Pharmaceuticals

As we wrap up this episode, we want to make sure you takeaway the fact that supplementation should be strategic.

It’s important to also mention that all supplements and brands are not created equal. Even products found in popular retailers could be lacking proper dosages and/or quality ingredients.

So make sure you do your homework!

Lastly, make sure you take a step back and think for a moment the next time you hear some crazy claim on a supplement or drug.

Don’t quickly believe everything you see or hear on the Internet. Especially from random journalists who don’t know how to properly articulate the scientific research.

What ends up happening is they are twisting the truth to get your attention with a catchy headline or something.

It can get pretty hectic trying to figure out how to improve your health and well being.

That’s why we’re here to help…

Our goal is to make a change in this industry by providing you with sound advice and products that are proven.
